7 R’s of Movement

Release: Soft tissue work via tennis ball or foam roller helps loosen up, or release, stiff, short or adhered muscle groups and helps to restore optimal mobility.

Reset: The reset helps realign major joints including hips and spine, making them more neutral. Also helps turn on appropriate muscles before your workout.

Readiness:Dynamic mobility stretches that improve muscle length and are active in nature which increases nervous system involvement and forces the body to not only produce movement but also stabilize it as well.

Reactive: Very basic exercises and progressions, slowly building up athletic movement pattern.

Resistence: Several key components to the strength training portion.

Regenerate: Depending on client’s vision, ie lose body weight, improve body composition we will use different tools to regenerate the body.

Rest: Active and passive rest requirements.
